I am an arising artist. Like a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis, I am awakening to new possibilities now that my youngest child has gone to University.

I enjoyed painting when I was younger, I especially liked the freedom of abstract art. Then I had to put my own self aside to raise my children.

 

Now, I’m very much finding my own artistic voice. I do enjoy the paradoxical ‘simple complexity’ of colour field art and I like to add texture to my work using different mediums beneath the painting, creating a tactile experience.
