The plant world is an inexhaustible source of inspiration and I am very grateful to Greenwich Park, other local open spaces as well as many local gardeners who provide me, whether knowingly or not, with a lot of my ideas and material.

 

I work in watercolour on hot pressed paper and vellum and work from life whenever possible backed-up by detailed photography.  My approach is contemporary employing accurate drawing, colour matching and careful composition to give a fresh result.

 

I have been exhibiting happily with SMAG since 2019 and I am delighted to be associated with such a helpful and supportive group.
