Alice Gur-arie

Alice is a self taught multidisciplinary artist who creates limited edition fine art images by hand painting, digitally, her photographs from around the world. Inspired by the natural world, landscapes, seascapes and wildlife dominate her portfolio, ranging from bold, saturated abstracts to soft, textured tones.

She also makes maritime themed wall hangings which combine iron hardware, rope, shells, and stones reclaimed from rivers and seas. Her current project is a watercolour painting of ancient stained glass abbey windows in France; her first collection of branch tapestries will be completed by the Autumn.
Alice has published two companion books which interpret the ancient Chinese world view into fine art images, short stories and poems.
