I use various techniques including wood cut, etching and painting to try and capture the beauty of urban wildlife that still survive in the green fragments on the edges of our cities.
Most of my inspiration comes from connecting with wildlife along the railway embankments of SE London where I spend much of my time but I also capture wildlife if on holiday when I tend to seek out woodlands and natural environments.
Some of my pieces are painted in ink that I make myself from oak galls/apples that I find on walks and I also tend to use either paper that I make from recycling or I use vintage maps and papers.
