I am a local abstract artist who likes to create affordable art using acrylics and other mediums. 

 

I am particularly drawn to metallics, so these feature heavily in my work and I am exploring textures at the moment to create 3-D effects. 

 

I am new to the art game (on a career break form teaching at a local school), having only started regularly producing pieces during the first lockdown when I was looking for ways to keep my children entertained. 

 

I soon realised that I get much more personal enjoyment of it, painting on my own, so now have to wait until after bed time! 

 

I've created pieces for my house, to tie in to the particular colour scheme, as well as pieces for friends and family, to tie into theirs. 

 

I am now branching out to new audiences as my spare wall space to artwork ratio has quickly diminished.
