​Exhibitions/Charitable Giving History
Since inception in 2017, SMAG Art has run 15 exhibitions, showcasing over 3,100 works of art and generating gross artwork sales of £84,723. This has raised £41,470 for local Greenwich/Blackheath charities and supported hundreds of local amateur, professional, and semi-professional artists.
Charities We Have Contributed To Since 2017
Charities benefitting from our giving include St. Michael's Church, Grace Aid Charity, Greenwich Homeless Project (fka Greenwich Winter Night Shelter), AFRIL (refugee charity), Greenwich Food Bank, Lewisham Food Bank, Hope For Home, the DEC Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal, Age Exchange (Blackheath), Debt Centre Greenwich and Greenwich Wildlife Network.

It has given us great pleasure during these tougher times to support local Greenwich/Blackheath charities whom we felt had the greatest need. We thank you, and are very grateful for, all the support we have received from our artist community, SMAG supporters and volunteers.

History of Our Exhibitions (from SMAG 5)
2019
SMAG 5 and 6 featured 173 and 210 art pieces from over 80 artists, attracting 450 to 700 visitors respectively, and selling 93 works. SMAG 6 exhibited art from students participants.

2020
The first online exhibition, SMAG 7, showcased 66 pieces by 50 artists with 23 sales.

2021
SMAG 8 resumed in-person exhibitions attracting over 300 visitors and selling 36 pieces of artwork valued at over £6,200. SMAG 9 followed and attracted over 650 visitors, 74 artists displaying over 260 works, which resulted in 73 sales for a total value of £8,400.

2022
SMAG 10 attracted over 750 visitors to see 196 individual pieces of artwork from 88 artists. 50 pieces were sold for a total value of £4,600.
SMAG 11 saw over 900 visitors buying 73 pieces which generated over £8,411, meaning £4,000 could be given to charity.

2023
SMAG 12, sold 68 pieces of artwork out of 265 exhibited by 88 artists for a total value of £7,723, a hit rate of 25.7%. 973 visitors was an all-time record and enabled us to contribute £3,500 to local charities.
SMAG 13 resulted gross artwork sales of £8,589. 98 artists exhibited 286 pieces with 86 sold and nearly 1,000 visitors. Contributions to local charities reached £4,250.

2024
SMAG 14, held in May/June 2024, resulted in a new SMAG record total gross artwork sales of £8,915 from a record 101 artists exhibiting 290 pieces of art. 78 pieces were sold and 915 people visited. This allowed us to contribute a new record amount of £4,500 to local Greenwich/Blackheath charities.
SMAG 15, held during Oct./Nov. 2024 had representation from 96 artists displaying 224 pieces of artwork, attracted 850 visitors and led to the sale of 79 pieces of artwork valued at £8,470. This allowed us to give £4,100 to charity.​
