Jane Lindsay Denham

Jane Lindsay lives in Greenwich and works as a local architect.

I have always loved drawing and doodling with a black pen, and illustration allows me to add bold digital colour to my hand-drawn work.

I am currently developing a collection of local vistas, landmarks, and buildings in Greenwich and Blackheath, presented in a distinctive illustrative style. There is a remarkable beauty in the urban environment that I feel is often overlooked. With their rich architectural heritage, Greenwich and Blackheath provide endless inspiration, and I aim to present these familiar places in a fresh, modern, and contemporary way.

I am particularly drawn to the honesty of buildings and the way they are accessible to everyone, regardless of age or background. Architecture has the power to evoke memories, spark conversations and create a sense of connection with a place. Through my work, I hope to celebrate the character of these communities while encouraging people to see their everyday surroundings from a new perspective, and above all, be fun!
